Historic Preservation represents the highest standard of care for the treatment of existing sites, whether it's required for a designated landmark, a goal of stakeholders, or simply to maintain a real estate value. OPISO Studio’s portfolio of past experience includes work on significant public and private sites including the United Nations Headquarters, the Cartier Mansion, the Massachusetts State House, National Register districts, National Historic Landmarks, and buildings throughout the National Park Service.
Adaptive Reuse is the type of “phoenix” project we love. OPISO Studio shares an owner’s thrill to embrace restoration as a catalyst for an underused building. In addition to preserving local context, adaptive reuse conserves the embodied energy of existing materials, reduces our construction wastestream, and helps revitalize districts.
